SkyPaste Privacy Policy

Welcome to SkyPaste (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). We take user privacy protection very seriously. This Privacy Policy clearly explains how the App collects, uses, stores, and protects your data, as well as the relevant rights you possess.

1. Data Collection and Use

The App is a locally-run macOS clipboard management tool that does not collect, upload, or share any user data via the internet. All operations are completed locally on your device:

• Clipboard history data (text, images, file URLs, etc.): Stored only on your local Mac device to implement core clipboard management functions, and will not be uploaded to any server;
• App setting data (shortcuts, history limits, language preferences, etc.): Saved only in local configuration files to remember your personalized settings;
• The App does not collect any additional data such as your device information, IP address, usage behavior, or location information.

2. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored on your Mac device via SQLite database or local configuration files, and is only accessible to you;
• We have not set up any data synchronization functions, and your clipboard data will not be transmitted to other devices or third-party platforms;
• You can delete all or part of your clipboard history data at any time through the App's built-in functions. After deletion, data is only cleared from your local device with no backups retained.

3. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertisements, or statistical analysis tools, so there is no possibility of third parties accessing your data.

4. User Rights

You have full control over all data stored locally:

• Right to View: Check all clipboard history and setting data in the App at any time;
• Right to Modify: Freely adjust App settings and edit clipboard content;
• Right to Delete: Clear all or selectively delete clipboard history data with one click;
• Right to Uninstall: When uninstalling the App, all relevant locally stored data can be deleted along with the App (depending on your uninstallation method).

5. Children's Privacy Protection

The App is not designed for children under the age of 13, and we do not intentionally collect any personal information from children. If minors use the App, it must be under the guidance of a guardian.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App or on official channels, with a new effective date indicated. Continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
